At Bright Pink Agency, we believe in using our resources and community connections to make a meaningful impact. That’s why we recently teamed up with the International Franchise Association’s South Florida WFN to host Breakfast for a Cause, benefitting the local nonprofit Women in Distress.

Alongside Home Franchise Concepts, PuroClean, Venable LLC, and other generous sponsors, we came together as women in franchising to support women rebuilding their lives after experiencing domestic violence.

Making a House a Home: Welcome Kits for Women in Distress

One of the biggest challenges women face when transitioning out of shelters is starting over with very little. To help ease this transition, we gathered donations and assembled “Welcome Home Kits” filled with essential household items like:
✔ Soap and toiletries
✔ Laundry detergent
✔ Dish towels
✔ Toothbrushes and toothpaste
✔ Hairbrushes
✔ Blankets and more

Initially, our goal was to create 30 kits—but thanks to the generosity of our attendees and donors, we exceeded expectations and delivered 50 kits to Women in Distress!

Why This Work Matters

With 1 in 3 women experiencing physical violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime, organizations like Women in Distress provide critical support for survivors as they rebuild their lives. These welcome kits may seem small, but they represent a fresh start, a helping hand, and a message that they are not alone.

A Community Effort for Lasting Impact

The energy at Breakfast for a Cause was incredible, with volunteers from Bright Pink Agency, PuroClean, and more coming together to assemble the kits. It was more than just a morning of giving—it was a reminder that small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.

At Bright Pink Agency, we believe everyone deserves safety, dignity, and support. We’re honored to play a role in helping women take the next step toward a brighter future, and we encourage others to join us in making a difference.
